How it works
Consultant imaging, diagnostics and treatment in one appointment
Most patients get their answers in a single visit. Your consultant discusses your symptoms, scans the area and explains what they see.
When more is needed, we arrange MRI, CT, blood tests or a specialist referral for you.
Frequently asked questions
Who performs the scans?
Every ultrasound scan is carried out and reported by a specialist consultant.
How do the scans work?
After checking in, you meet your consultant and talk through your symptoms. They apply a small amount of gel and move the probe over the area, giving a live view. They discuss the results with you during the appointment.
When do I get my report?
Usually within 24 hours of your scan.
What if something else needs checking?
Whether it is a blood test, MRI, CT or a specialist referral, we will either book you in or give you clear recommendations.
How much does a scan cost?
Ultrasound scans generally range from £300 to £450, including the consultation and report. See Pricing.
Do I need a referral?
No. We accept self-referrals as well as referrals from clinicians.
Unsure what to book?
Tell us what is concerning you and we will guide you to the right appointment. An initial consultation with a consultant is £50, which is put towards any imaging or procedure you go on to have.
